Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756 - 1791) is thought to be one of the greatest composers of Western music. He wrote prolifically in his short life for all genres - choral operas and oratorios, chamber works for many diverse ensembles, and symphonic works and concertos for many instruments. Mozart was composing by the time he was 5, and was also a talented violinist and pianist. These duos were written around 1786 and were originally composed for 2 horns. In this version they are arranged for two violas. The Duets are charming and accessible to intermediate players and above. This is the full collection of all twelve duos.
